eS Footwear

	éS Footwear (pronounced like the letter s) is an American footwear brand started in 1995 by Pierre André Senizergues of Sole Technology, Inc., who is also the owner of etnies, Emerica, Altamont Apparel and ThirtyTwo snowboard boots. éS was developed as a more technically-oriented line compared to etnies and other brands at the time, in both aesthetic and function. Skateboard pro Sal Barbier left etnies and joined éS to launch the brand and design shoes, and brought his popular Sal 23 model to éS, as well.
